Grand Finale

Just to be cliche, our story doesn’t end here, a new one is starting. With my mother and I hopping onto a plane to take us from Tahiti to Seattle, where we’d house hunt in a new part of the state. Dad and the cats would arrive later, and we were busy, busy, busy.

Our first job was to find a home. Easier said then done. We almost went through with a deal until we decided the house was a little too small, and that we were simply settling for it, not hopelessly in love with it. So we searched some more, until we found the perfect one.

Oh yeah. Guess who we caught up with and went house hunting with? Mary and Steve from Summer Rose! We were so excited and happy to see them again. We had so much catching up to do.

Finally, after looking at about 20 houses, we found the one. A darling, 1930’s brick house with a pretty garden on a quiet street. It was the most perfect place! We put an offer in and waited for the deal to close.

Meanwhile, I saw my best friends Willow and Brianna, spending a day with each of them, swimming and lounging around the hotel. We also went away for the weekend with some long-time family friends for a birthday. It was really fun, and we did everything from sewing on the grass to water trampolining on Lake Chelan.

So now, as our story draws to a close, I’m sitting on a couch, in another hotel, typing up this last paragraph. If you’ve read this right from the beginning, good for you! If you haven’t, that’s fine! If you’ve just accidentally stumbled across this website, maybe now you know a little bit about me.

I’m waiting to start Eighth Grade, my first day is this Monday and I’m more than a bit nervous. Wish me luck!
